*Provides individual & couples counseling
I strive to provide counseling and guidance to individuals, families, and people who are dealing with issues that affect them physically, emotionally and mentally. It can be scary reaching out and talking to a therapist and many people avoid seeking help because of this. Many people have been struggling lately, through prolonged stress and uncertainty. This takes a toll on our emotions and our bodies. I have always desired to understand feelings, behavior and the human mind. I would like to help clients determine why they are experiencing their life challenges, develop goals and actions to help resolve their issues.
I earned a master’s degree in social work at GVSU in 2017. Since that time I have practiced 7+ years of crisis evaluation and intervention. My specialties include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, grief/loss, developing coping skills and crisis intervention. I work with clients via tele-health throughout Michigan. I believe in taking a person-centered approach, treating each person as a whole, including their mind, body, spirit and emotions. My goal is to offer a safe space to slow down, breathe, and be heard.
